Freedom Rights

Freedom can be defined as the state of being free, the power to speak or act or think without externally forced restrictions. Freedom is the condition of enabling an individual to do what he wants to do. Right to freedom is the most vital of all human rights.  Right to freedom is the basic human freedom to which every human being is entitled. The realization of freedom is essential for every human being in order to lead a harmonious life. Right to freedom is universally applicable to all citizens irrespective of their religion, color, race or gender. The first step towards achieving human rights is to achieve right to freedom. Every human being deserve right to freedom simply for the reason that he is human.

Right to freedom bestows certain rights to every human being such as right to speak, act or think freely. Freedom rights allow one to enjoy life with minimal constraint. Freedom is best cherished by an individual when he has a complete right to govern his life, mind, body and soul. Freedom right is such that it allows one to be free to live his life in his own way. It is the right which allows one to choose one’s own choices. One can experience the inner freedom due to the existence of God. The external freedom will not be meaningful for the one who had not experienced inner freedom. The attachment to God provides a sense of freedom which acts as a motivating factor to lead a free life.

As it is rightly quoted that “Freedom is the oxygen of the soul and mind” and yet throughout human history many individuals are struggling to be free. It is essential to uphold Right to freedom in order to ensure that peace can last in the world. One must respect freedom rights of others as denying freedom for others means not deserving it for oneself. Freedom can be regarded as a gift from God which has to be earned by leading a loving and helpful life.
