Freedom of thought means every person has the right to consider his thought, view or fact regardless of others viewpoints. Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, religion and conscience. This right consists of freedom to alter his belief or religion either alone or in society with others and in private or public, to clear his belief or religion in practice, teaching and worship. It is closely linked with freedom of expression, freedom of speech and freedom of religion. All persons have the right to hold opinion and expression (on the basis of reason, logic and science) without any interference. Everyone has right to collect and communicate information via any media.
According to Article 18 and 19 of the UDHR (Universal Declaration of Human Rights) and ICESCR (International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights) “Everyone has the right to the freedom of expression. It consists of freedom to hold views without obstruction and to collect and communicate ideas and information via any media and regardless of boundaries.”
